Once again, my website and e-mail goes down. I try to open a "ticket" with my hosting company (HostOnce.com), but their "Help Desk" page is also down. I send an e-mail to their sales department (the only e-mail address on their "Contact Us" page).
On 7/9/02 (afternoon), my website is restored, however all of my e-mail mailboxes are somehow deleted in the process. I try to re-recreate them, but I have the same problems as I had in June. So, my site is up, but I am without e-mail.
Note: this is the second issue in the two months that my site has been active with this hosting company.

    6/7/02-6/12/02
On Friday, 6/7/02, a number of my e-mail mailboxes suddenly stopped working. I e-mailed my hosting company, HostOnce.com (www.hostonce.com) to open a "help ticket" and did not receive a response for 3 days. They said that "there was a problem and it had been resolved" (without mentioning the problem or the resolution).
On Monday, 6/10, I followed their directions to delete and re-create the mailboxes, however, the mailboxes were not listed on my "control panel" website... meaning I couldn't do what they recommended. I sent them another e-mail (to open another "help ticket" that evening), but, 2 days later, I had not received a resolution... and my e-mail was still not working! I then sent an e-mail to their sales department (the only e-mail address on their "Contact Us" page), complete with screen shots that showed the missing mailboxes. I quickly received an apologetic e-mail the next day (Thursday), 6/13/02, and the e-mail is now working correctly.

    Editorial:
For those Diamonds that quit, I have to ask- why? To paraphrase the tapes, "Don't they want the big houses or the sports cars? Don't they want to have enough money to send their kids to college? Don't they want more "free time" to spend with their wife or husband or kids? So, what changed? Now, you have to understand- I don't say this to be mean, but to get them to think about it. A while ago you were telling us how much money you made, now you're saying you don't want to do it any more?" Are they trying to tell us that they found enough "ethics & morals" to quit the business because their friends were terminated? Or was it a case of quitting before getting fired?
And what will these ex-Diamonds do now? Get the dreaded J-O-B? I can almost hear the interview: "So, what have you been doing for the past 15 years? A 'Diamond'? So, you were an Amway distributor? And you got fired? But, what skills do you have to offer our company?"
