Our home-away-from home was the Boscolo Exedra Roma (a Marriott branded hotel), located just north of the Roma Termini train station.

The hotel was built over the exedra (or front opening) of the Baths of Diocletian (link opens in a new window). In fact, the ancient ruins of the baths can be seen below a glass floor in the bottom floor of the hotel.

They had an excellent breakfast buffet with eggs, turkey sausage, deli meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, and even a Sacher torte cake... for breakfast!
